Former councillor representing Grange ward in the London Borough of Southwark

Biography

Bob Skelly has lived in Southwark for four decades and taught in the borough at secondary level for more than 30 years. He has been a governor of a number of schools in Southwark and is currently on two governing bodies.

As a pedestrian and public transport user he is keen to see improvements particularly in bus services.

He wants to see recycling extended even further and the Borough to look even cleaner and greener.

Cllr Skelly was executive member for education between 2002 and 2004.

He served as Mayor of Southwark for 2007/8 and was chair of Bermondsey Community Council for 2008/9.

He stood down from the council at the 2010 elections.
