More than 100 jobs created in Southwark thanks to Earn and Learn

SE1 employers including Vinopolis, Better Bankside and Team London Bridge are part of a new Earn and Learn scheme which will create more than 100 jobs in Southwark.

Guy's and St Thomas' sell carbon credits to campaign group

A climate campaign group claims that it has prevented 2000 tonnes of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere by purchasing credits from the trust which runs SE1's two NHS hospitals.

Whites Grounds skate park gets summer clean-up

Volunteers from local businesses and Southwark Council have helped to clear up the Whites Grounds skate park in time for the summer holidays.
