Newington Causeway: Peabody and City plan 1,000 new homes

Up to 1,000 new homes could be built on the western side of Newington Causeway under two separate plans revealed this week by housing association Peabody and the City of London Corporation.

Maldonado Walk: alleyway renamed after Ecuadorian scientist

An alleyway at Elephant & Castle has been renamed in honour of the Ecuadorian scientist Pedro Vicente Maldonado.
