Last time I went there it was saying that 100% of stuff deposited there was diverted from land fill. That was news to me - I was impressed.

Except, I was told to put all my film plastic in a general bin which made me wonder whether that stuff doesn't count when they say 100%.

I've looked on their website for more info about what they do with food waste (I live in a flat so they don't collect) and film plastic/wrappers, both of which aren't collected, but there's not really much info.

If anyone knows more then me about what they do then please do respond :)

What amazes me is that as a resident of Waterloo in North Lambeth (literally on the border of Southwark and Lambeth) I can't recycle there. I have to drive a further 2.2 miles to the nearest Lambeth recycling depot. I have contacted councillors about this since the change and asked for reciprocal agreements between councils but still nothing. And they wonder why residents don't recycle more...
Any councillors reading this, feel free to address this issue.
