Thameslink 2000 exhibitions

Railtrack is staging a display ahead of an expected autumn announcement about the widening of the railway track between Blackfriars Bridge and London Bridge. The line carries Thameslink trains and extensive work is planned in Borough Market where the historic residential area could be lost. Meanwhile Railtrack has modified by five metres its controversial plan to build a canopy over Blackfriars Railway Bridge.

An exhibition caravan will be in Hopton Street on Thursday 1 and Friday 2 July and in Borough Market daily from Tuesday 6 to Saturday 10 July. The final opportunity to view the Thameslink 2000 plans is at London Bridge Station on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 July.
