Great Suffolk Street sealed off as police investigate 'stabbing'

Parts of Great Suffolk Street and Pocock Street were closed off by police on Sunday morning after reports of an assault.

Police were called in the early hours of the morning to the section of Great Suffolk Street between Surrey Row and Pocock Street.

The police cordon also included Pakeman House.

A New Scotland Yard spokesman said that the male victim's injuries – believed to include a knife wound – were not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
