Borough Market lays on free buses from Blackfriars and Waterloo

London SE1 website team

Borough Market is running two free bus routes for Christmas shoppers linking Waterloo and Blackfriars stations with Southwark Street.

The bus routes launch on Saturday 20 December and run daily untill Christmas Eve.

The free services have been laid on to coincide with major changes to train services to and from London Bridge Station.

Between 20 December and 4 January no Southern and Thameslink trains will serve London Bridge and there will be some changes to Southeastern services.

Bus route BM1 will pick up passengers from stop B outside Blackfriars Station in Queen Victoria Street and bring them across the river to Southwark Street.

Route BM2 starts outside Elizabeth House in York Road close to Waterloo Station.

Both routes will run every 30 minutes between 8am until 5pm, with the last buses at about 3pm on Christmas Eve.

A full timetable is available on the market website.
