A Cut Above
Sunday lunch at the Cut Restaurant is recommended. The space itself is airy and contemporary, the staff young, responsive and friendly and the food a cut above anywhere else in the vicinity of southwark station. Fish and chips consisted of tender cod cooked to perfection, crispy thick cut chips and tangy tartare sauce. Chorizo with mash was an interesting take on traditional british fare with an "almost as good as sex" sticky toffee pud to finish. The wine isn't cheap here but of a superior quality. Well worth a visit.
