Mixed feelings for the Buck
Went for Sun lunch as pretty much exhausted all other options in the area and wanted to try somewhere new. Feels a little like a student pub but service was friendly and drinks fine. The roast was nothing special though and the chef certainly needs lessons on making gravy (ours was rather thin and greasy). Portions not overly generous either and the veg looked pre-prepared and possibly frozen. Still trying to find that elusive perfect sun lunch in SE1. Will be back for drinks but probably not much else.
A proper London Pub
Went there with my lady last night for our 3rd visit. The is a great selection of beer (which is cold) and plenty on the menu to satisfy my picky girlfriend.
Really friendly bunch of people, landlord is pretty funny as well. Loved the music, very electic and not too loud. This is a bit of a hidden gem set amongst the horrible selection on borough High Street.
Only tell people you want to come!
Funky Young Place
A great place to sit around with friends for drinks, a snack or filling meal.

I've tried a few things here and its tasty stuff with good size portions.

The atmosphere is good if you fancy a chill out during the day or night with friendly helpful staff.
