Good food, friendly staff and good value
This is a great place to have locally. The sashimi is very good and there is a good range of other japanese and other asian dishes. There is eel which is a favourite of mine.
The good value prices mean its an obvious choice to eat in on the way home when you don't want to cook as well as for a good meal. Small but decent wine list.

Great local restaurant
Really great local restaurant. Lovely new owners and bargain sushi. This used to be a cheap Chinese restaurant in decline but the new owners have completely changed the menu to a limited sushi menu and a variety of other Asian dishes.

We are used to eating in Japanese owned restaurants like Atari, Sakura and Mistukoshi. While the menu here is more limited in terms of Japanese dishes the low prices and decent quality sushi ( which is very prettily prepared) makes this a great local option.

New Management - Miles Better
Just been here for the first time since we spotted it had changed hands - it now does Japanese, Malay & Chinese food, and does it really well. The previous Chinese restaurant was a BIG disappointment, so we wanted to check out whether it had undergone a complete change (new management, staff, chef etc) or just a change of menu. Fortunately, it is the former; the new owner has worked in Japanese restaurants for many years, speaks excellent Japanese and knows what he's doing with the food. We'll be going back very soon.
