unimpressive for several years now
Must admit this is less of a review than an anti-review as I stopped going there a couple of years ago after several poor experiences. The service standards had slipped and the prices risen. This place used to be a favourite but no longer. I agree - disappointing.
disappointing service, what has happened!

We returned to the Southbank Tandoori last night and the service was terrible, we didn't leave a tip which is the first time I can remember not doing so.

The restaurant was not busy for a saturday night, they got a simple order wrong, couldn't catch there eye to get another drink, kept trying to take our poppadoms away while we were eating and had to ask for the bill twice and then left us with the bill and our bank card for another 10 - 15 minutes...

This place used to be small, friendly, attentive and good food... what happened?

Honest Burgers
I really like this place - it is nothing special but what it makes it does well. Treat it like a local indian - very good staff , nice atmosphere - good food and many locals - good price too.
