Shad Thames Tales

Begin at Cantina del Ponte (Butlers Wharf riverside) with refreshments and an introduction to Shad Thames. Then you'll hear from experienced professionals who work on the river, at Tower Bridge and in the Shad Thames Pumping Station.

Around 11.15 there will be a short walk around the area, focusing on both historical buildings and current developments.

At noon there's a chance to visit Anise Gallery (13a Shad Thames) for more stories - this time with a cultural twist.

Meet people active in the artistic community at Butlers Wharf after the docks closed and before the area was regenerated.
