The Leather Industry in the Bermondsey Street area

In 1730 Queen Anne granted a royal charter and 100 years later, tanneries and other leather work covered the Bermondsey. By 1980, it had all gone.
Local historian Jennie Howells will be sharing this history.
This event is organised by BSAP (Bermondsey Street Area Partnership).
