Flex your green fingers this spring with a spot of gardening in Bernie Spain Gardens.

Following bulb planting sessions last December, help with the next stage of work to improve the flower bed in the south gardens.

These sessions are to plant a range of pollinator plants to help improve biodiversity. The plants have been chosen to provide much needed nectar and attract insects which in turn will provide a food source for birds.

Meet at the Colombo Centre at 11.30am for tea/coffee or meet in Bernie Spain Gardens (by Stamford Street) from 12 noon. Soup and bread lunch provided.

For more information about these activities and the regular Gentle Gardening sessions contact Laura on [email protected] or 07557 740442.
