I am visiting a friend who lives in Blackfriars Road over the Christmas period. I will need to park my car somewhere for the whole day on Wednesday 30 December. I understand that this is a working day so I wouldn't be able to park in a resident's bay. The meters would probably be too expensive. Can anyone recommend a cheap car park?
Many thanks!!!

you can get a visitors permit to allow you to park on the residents bay for short periods - try the council's parking shop

There is a car park in the arches on Great Suffolk Street, which is close to Blackfriars Road. I remember thinking it was not too much of a rip off for central London - 7 for a day I think? I'll make an effort to check on my way past.
