I would definitely club together - it's such a waste of money to rent!

After trawling through lots of sites I found this one useful;

there are loads of other sites out there - I recommend you shop around!

[split from old thread about washing machines]

You appear to work for a domestic appliances company.

I suggest that you rethink your marketing strategy.

This sort of activity is illegal under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Commercial Practices Regulations 2008.

May I suggest a read of this?

Particularly this section on page 12 as part of the list of banned practices:

18. A wolf in sheep's clothing
Falsely claiming or creating the impression that the
trader is not acting for purposes relating to his/her trade,
business, craft or profession, or falsely representing
oneself as a consumer.

Thanks James,

I found your link to be very interesting. I understand your 'confusion' since there is an Appliances Online ad randomly appearing on my post. If you continue to watch other google ads appear here to - I can assure you this add has nothing to do with me - I suggest you take it up with the editor.

I have no hesitation in calling you a complete liar.

You clearly work for DRL Limited, the owner of the Appliances Online website.

I can assure you that I am not at all 'confused'.

It never ceases to amaze me how brazen people can be even when they have been caught out.

Why would anyone buy or rent a washing machine from a company that is prepared to act unlawfully and then deny it when caught out?!

Shame really, coz my washing machine has broken down, and I'm looking for a Bosch Logixx WIS28440GB, but I think I'll go elsewhere. I see the Co op are selling them at 758 pounds - lots cheaper and soo reputable too- thanks James!
