While trying to ascertain if Prince Charles/Duchy of Cornwall owns anything/has any interest in SE1/Southwark, I came across this...

Can anyone shed any light on either?

Many thanks.

That is the address of Wright Bros of Borough Market, isn't it?

Perhaps they have the distribution contract for the Duchy's oyster beds down at Helston?

Thank you, Lang Rabbie

You are just the man to tell me if the Duchy owns anything in SE1 or anywhere in Southwark. For instance, do you know if any of his Kennington Estate spills over from Lambeth/SE11?

AFAIK the Duchy's SE1 interests were confined to the Prince's Meadows, "the detached portion of the demesne land of the manor of Kennington lying at the northern end of the parish between Broadwall and the site of Waterloo Road" i.e. the area around Stamford Street - hence "Cornwall Road", "Duchy Street" and Coin Street's former name of "Princes Street".

Wouldn't it be simpler to record what he does not own or have a vested interest in?
