Bermondsey born Jade has shown in the past few weeks that she is far more than just a reality tv celebrity. Her bravery is to be applauded and her fight with cervical cancer is doing much to save the lives of many young women. I think we should be very proud of her and I would like to put forward the idea of erecting a statue in Bermondsey in her honour.

No thanks.

Please do forward the idea - lets hope it gets all the attention it deserves
(about 5 seconds to read it, and ten minutes of uncontrolled laughter before being binned)

Maybe suggest that she gets a permanent statue on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar square as well while you're at it!

in ten years time - Jade who?

what did she actually do? why is she famous?
apart from making sure everyone knew how thick she was, and then prostituting herself to the media.

'more than just a reality tv celebrity'?!
WTF - since when did reality tv contestants deserve to be called celebrities?!

'bravery'? - how has she been brave? She got cancer, and told everyone about it. Lots of people get cancer. what's she done that different to any of those?

FFS - it's the stupidest idea I've ever heard!

I can see that this thread isn't going to go well.

If anyone feels a desperate need to discuss Ms Goody, perhaps they could use the existing thread over in Chatter.
