Billboards end of Trinity Street

The huge advertising hoardings (x 2) at the BHS end of Trinity Street were taken down yesterday.

This is obviously welcome, but does anyone know if it's a permanent move?

Best thing to do is nip upstairs to the Dentists reception and ask then...they'll be able to "fill you in". Don't try to exract too much from them but do "amalgum-ate" all the facts :-))

That's interesting because about two weeks ago the huge ones at St Geroge's Circus (northeast side) were taken down too.

Could it be a recession thing? I would imagine advertising budgets are one of the first things to be cut.

Anyway, that corner now looks very exposed.

More likely that they've been removed pending installation of bigger, more brash illuminated billboards...
