Yippee! Please let it snow for at least a week, and may it remain bitterly cold so the snow doesn't melt and go all slushy and brown...

The only reason you want lots of now in SE1 is so that you can drunkenly mince round Borough Market in your pants thinking that you are Bridget Jones!!

I want snow so deep that I can't leave home! I wish that companies would close the way schools do when it's deep snow - I'd love to sit round the radio listening to see if my work had shut for the day...

it won't snow - I've just seen a local shopkeeper chucking grit onto the pavement and the shelves have been stripped of packets of salt. So now we're prepared it won't snow - ever.

oh by the way, it's bright sunshine out there at the moment.

kerr mudgeon.

When I used to ahve the farm up north, we were often cut off in the snow
once i had to abandon the car and 2 days later it was covered in so much snow i couldn't find it.

on the downside, that weather meant that we lost lambs - never good for any farmer

I still remember the winter of 79 - collecting the groceries on sledges!

jumpers for goalposts.... mumble mumble rant drivel etc

3 reasons why Snow in SE1 would be great:

1. the grungy city looks great
2. throwing snowballs at the traffic wardens
3. it makes the beer taste better
