Bermondsey Square Cinema / Southwark News Film Club

The First Southwark News film club took place on Wednesday night in the new Shockwaves (Bermondsey Square Cinema) They showed Zulu (with Michael Caine) and had Saul David the author of the book Zulu Wars give a talk on the historical accuracy of the film.

I have to say it was a brilliant night out and only £55

well done to Rob and Kevin for organising such a great event - looking forward to next months club already!

New to this forum stuff and thought people would like to know the cinema is now up and running. Like many people I've been waiting with baited breath for it to open.

How does one join?

Yes ive also been waiting for this cinema, been twice now and im v impressed. Great choice of films, excellent cinema - as good as any screening room in soho. Drinks are pricey but you dont need to, you can just use cinema. I say lets use it or lose it!
