I've been trying to research my English family and have hit a brick wall regarding a place of birth.

I have a Granduncle who was born in 1894. On his Birth Certificate, the address given is: 130 Walcran Buildings, Southwark.

Does this ring any bells with anyone here? Would it help to include that his birth was in the District of St. Saviour and the Sub-district of Kent Road?

I imagine that this address would have been a large, apartment complex that, very probably, no longer exists - but perhaps somebody knows of it and where it once stood?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for reading this.
