I was playing squash at the Elephant and Castle leisure centre on Saturday, so I thought I'd take a look at the exhibition while I was there.
I followed the signs to an empty room. I was there around 2.30. I was told that the exhibition had finished just before I arrived.
I thought I'd ask to see if anyone actually saw this exhibition - before I come to the conclusion that they simply didn't bother with an exhibition at all.
There were 2 staff from Knight Frank and an architect. They had produced a lovely model of the scheme so it was a shame that I only saw three local people who had filled in feedback forms.
The most interesting information I gathered was an apparent first for Southwark as a result of the economic situation the developer cannot get a housing association to manage the 13 affordable properties so the developer will maintain the freehold and manage the affordable properties themselves.
