I'm looking for a decent place near Waterloo to hire for a couple of hours, for a business buffet-type lunch - nothing fancy, sandwiches will be fine. It's for 30-40 people, needs to be cheap as poss! Any ideas?

I think the Living Space attached to the Milllennium Green has meeting rooms to hire and I expect the cafe can provide sandwiches.

The Jerwood space is an attractive venue, has nice meeting rooms for hire, can do food and I think it's not that expensive. It's on Union St - about a 10 min walk from waterloo.

James, this is more work for you, but any chance of a feature on the website where local for-hire spaces are listed?

Sputnik - it's one of the very many things on my 'to-do' list for this website.

Watch out for lots of new features and content from June onwards...

Oh, I see where it is now. I go past there quite a lot, but haven't been in the park for ages. Thanks James.

Does anyone else think that the practise of giving places such fancy names confuses them (or is it just me)?
