Shallots to pickle

Does anyone know where I can buy a decent sized bag of shallots to pickle? Can only find those weeny bags at the supermarkets. Cheers!

Check out the new greengrocer/wholesaler at the north end of Druid Street under the railway arch - I believe they used to trade at Borough Market.

Thanks SE1 Foodie - didn't know about them. Will also see if the Cypriot shop on Southwark Park road might be able to get a couple of sacks/nets in for me ! Think I'm looking for a larger bag than Tesco's usually do but thanks anyway Paul.

I have not been able to find any shallots in the shops for a couple of months at least. We use them a lot in French cooking. Fortunately, I have just returned from France with a great big bag from my parents' garden and it will last me until next spring.
