Just cross Blackfriars Road and go to The Cut. You will find everything. Indian, Chinese, a Kebab shop, A fried chicken shop, all doing take aways. Just 2 minutes walk from The Travelodge.

I'm pretty sure there is a chinese almost next door if it is the one on waterloo road, can't vouch for the food though.

If you cut through to Blackfriar's Bridge Road (down Webber Street etc) you get to the Crown and the Laughing Gravy - both good places run by members of this site.

No connection etc.

Morleys - over the road in Morley Street next to ambulance station is a good Indian takeaway

The reception at the travellodge has discount cards for customers to use at the crown. not much in the way of indian food but a great range of traditional pub meals and a good grill menu. just ask at reception for crowncard.
