Dirty Old Red Routemaster Fish and Chip Bus on Southbank.
How did this get permission to trade? It's filthy, very tacky and nasty looking.
It spoils the eye line and blocks the view.
There is already a perfectly tasteful chrome Airstream van selling good quality food and drinks.
Why add this monstrosity? Naff!

I agree that the bus spoils the South Bank. Who gave the permission in the first place. It looks dirty and can only imagin the cleanliness of the food prep area if the outside is anything to go by?

Red bus gone! A lot of people complained about this.
I still wonder how it got permission to trade.....

The bus appears to be parked outside the Bell pub on Webber Street (or at least, there's a very similar dirty old Routemaster there parked with two wheels on the pavement)

A traditional London bus selling a traditional English dish is dirty and 'naff'?
It wasn't dirty looking at all, it was clean and I thought it was quite inviting, and I can't believe people actually complained about it!
It's something that represents quintessential Britishness, it's not dirty and naff at all.
It's someone's living.
