I had breakfast in Village Deli this morning - it was lovely, by the way - and saw some work being done in the Goode Foods premises on the corner of Bermondsey Street at Morocco Street.

I asked if the staff knew any more and they said they think it is being turned into a new Tapas bar.

Walking through Bermondsey Street recently, the doors have been opened much more and there are certainly works being done.

Bit creepy, perhaps, but does anyone know any more about what is to become of that place?

It's one of two new local ventures by Josť Pizarro who used to be at Tapas Brindisa but left last year to do his own thing.

I read in Hot Dinners this morning that the tapas & sherry bar is set to open in April - looking forward to it!

Does anyone know of the location of the "more formal" restaurant - apparently SE1, but I don't seem to be able to find a reference as to where?
