Saw this is now being kitted out with canteen style tables. Does anyone know if it is still going to be a Japanese? ( ex coffee on tower bridge cafe)

Chozen is on Borough High Street, Ivanhoe

Julia is talking about Wawa Restaurant
which has taken a very long time to open (if indeed it is still going to do so)

Julia is talking about the ex [email protected] place opposite The Cat & Cucumber caff on TBR.

I popped in there and had a chat with the developers back in April 2010.

They were going full steam ahead and hoped to open "soon" - for sushi and hot Japanese food.

Since then, nothing has happened.

There is an old thread here...

Oops! I've been walking around in a daze. (How unusual!)

Apologies for spreading confusion.

Excellent news!

I walk past most days wondering when it will open - can't wait.

I'll have to wander by and give it a gander.

I'd not noticed Chozen, and I love Japanese food. Shows perhaps how the clutter of BHS and the miserable narrow pavements obscure local businesses. Energies too focused on getting through the throng to see what's there.

Same here, Boroman. I was only made aware of it by comments here.
