Just wondered if anyone knew if the Royal Barge is likely to be coming down the river this morning for the naming by the Queen at Greenland Pier, South Sea Street, SE16.

In answer to my own question yes!

It was at Chiswick Pier 30 mins ago and moving quite quickly.

I'm quite looking forward to the 3rd June. I'm not a Royalist but you can't beat a good spectacle.

Where do people think the best views will be?

On the sofa with some bubbly I suspect!

The boat looked great this morning without rowers, flags etc

FABULOUS pics, thanks James! gosh it looks super! Alas Zoe I dont have any smart friends with flats overlooking the river to watch the flotilla...if the weather's ok I might even consider sleeping bagging it on the certainly will be a one off event, and I'm not sure I'll be around for the next coronation...
