Just browsing through southwark councils licencing pages as you do and noticed that there is an application by nandos chickens and for Bermondsey square hotel. Is Greggs on the way out?

Not sure how you could square the style f hotel with an on premises Nando's as the only food offering; I'll bet it would be more popular and successful than Gregg's Table.

I should here included the link, here it is, though objections close on the 10th of August. Strange as I haven't noticed any signs around?

I have asked the Nando's press office to comment.

It's not beyond the bounds of possibility that council has simply displayed the wrong applicant name on the licensing register.
