Borough High St / Great Dover St junction this morning

Did anyone else enjoy watching the pandemonium this morning with none of the lights working at the junction outside borough tube?

Total mayhem as everyone assumed they had right of way.

I did. Everyone was yelling at each other. It was like something out of a Jacques Tati movie, apart from the yelling.

Most people ignore those lights on a dailly basis anyway, so not sure how different it would have been?

p.s. I don't really mean that, before anyone says it.

Guy's Street, when they know they're in the wrong they have a tiny bit of a sense of how far they can push it (7 running the red is the most I've seen), so they eventually give in to an assertive driver who is in the right. With no lights working there's nothing to tell them they are not the great entitled one. The idea of all that blood pressure and fury makes me giggle. Please record it next time, Longlane!
