Does anybody know when the Wheatsheaf pub is re-opening in Stoney Street? I looked through the window and noticed the restoration of the pub's interior was progressing well.

While we're at it - any news on The Rose on Snowsfields / Weston Street corner? The outside is looking smart, possibly a little too smart to be a nice little boozer...

Have to say I'm not liking the new wine bar style stand up table and stool affairs. Having to go outside for somewhere decent to sit seems to make the idea of going to the Wheatsheaf a little pointless. Will give it awhile to settle down before a final verdict.
