can anyone recommend somewhere local that could accomodate 12 people for brunch at short notice? 10am ish? Elliots isnt able too

The Anchor and Hope on The Cut used to do a lunch sitting and you could reserve.

Great fun, everyone sitting down to the same lunch and excellent food.

We went once a few years back and fell out the door 4 hours later.

Village East has a private room which would suit that number well, or they could reserve an area in the upstairs bar, or maybe set you up in the main restaurant.

Zucca also have a very nice private room. We had a Christmas dinner there together with our neighbours on our floor. It was splendid and very affordable.

Butler's Wharf Chop House? Always had good brunch there in the past.

All Bar One or Browns on Butler's Wharf also do brunch and have plenty of space for large bookings. If you prefer to avoid the chains then I think the Roebuck pub still does a weekend brunch. Must be some other pubs with a brunch offering as well.

I think you mean Joe's Kitchen.

Village East also an option, and serves better food than Joe's. El Vergel is another potential.

They are probably the only 10am brunch places I can think of. Most of the other places above are more "lunch" than "brunch".
