Is there still a car park under the shopping centre? If so, where is the entrance? And who is it run by?

Looking for somewhere to park a car for 24 hours from early Monday.

Most obliged for any information.

Thank you.

Yes there is and it's recently been cleaned up and renovated. I visited it for the first time in about five years a few weeks ago. The entrance is a little tricky to find, but it's on Elephant Road, which is a one way road only accessible from the Walworth Road in the southbound direction. Now that the Southern Roundabout has been removed a driver travelling north on the Walworth Road must drive all the way around the north roundabout the Elephant and Castle and back down the Walworth Road to get there. The proposed destruction of the north roundabout would currently make access to Elephant Road for a north bound driver on the Walworth Road incredibly difficult without significant detours into Lambeth or a journey all the way up St George's Road, St George's Circus and down London Road.

... your question only goes to underline what incredible incompetence is behind the redesign of roads at the Elephant and Castle.

No wonder the shopping centre car park is virtually empty.
