How is it even possible to demolish the middle section of a terrace? Surely this historic streets needs preserving. And finally, do we really need another hotel in Waterloo, it's bad enough that another one is planned for Blackfriars Road.

Well it was a guest house if it could be called such, and to me anything is better than what we have now

They have some plans and views in the window. Looks much better than what is there at the moment and at least it is not another high street chain which is what some of us fear will happen after the Cut

I have stayed in Steve's. It was the most horrible place imaginable. I reported it to the health authorities. To replace it would be a very, very good thing.
