Yes, the local Tenants & Residents Association got a grant (possibly the Joint Security Initiative funding, I can't recall) to fix up this area. The works have been a long time in the planning, with lots of consultation and a bit of controversy over the number of parking spaces (parking vs green space was effectively the issue). There will be a new entryway installed to the block nearest Waterloo Road and improved landscaping. There have been ongoing issues around waste disposal/bins etc. which the works are expected to address.
