Is there any groups nearby that would allow a 2 yr.old in at short notice? My daughter and great grand-daughter are coming back with me to london tomorrow and as it's raining here and my garden will be soaked at home and my tiny room is too small, I thought there may well be something suitable...

If you get stuck the library down the Blue was doing baby and toddler sessions, might be worthwhile giving them a call to see if there's anything on tomorrow? I think they are shut today.

Bit more info here,

Hi Jan
There are guides published by Southwark council that list all the toddler and baby classes in the area. You can find them here:

There are different guides depending on where you live. There's loads to do, I can personally recommend Tower Tots on Monday mornings at Haddon Hall, Salmon Centre soft play on Monday/Tuesday/Thursday (brilliant for very active little ones!), Ellen Brown centre at Spa Park on Thursday morning (9.15-10.45am). There's also Tykes Corner which isn't listed but open every day from 9.30am-ish until 2pm-ish, its on Thurlow Street.
Let me know if you want any other info.
