Curious. If the accident was outside the tube station, what was all the activity outside the police station? And why were northbound pedestrians and cyclists being redirected down Stones End Street?
EDIT: From the coverage I suspect there is confusion on the reporter's part between the tube station and police station.
Looks like the actual accident was further down the road at the junction of Trinity St and Great Suffolk St but they've closed off the whole stretch. The unfortunate rider was in the road almost directly outside the police station.
What sights our great emergency services have to see, to have to see the pools souls who have been injured or killed in accidents..meant poor souls no disrespect intended! Trying to get used to iPad.
