I asked him the other day and he said he hopes to open before December - but they usually take a long holiday break around that time anyway. It may well be the new year!

They will be re-opening on Monday the 7th of December, 2015. But if memory serves, they also close down for a few weeks over the holiday.

When I was a student, I used to work as a part time barman for the Archduke Partnership, mainly at their Archduke Winebar location in Concert Hall Approach.

During that time, I often was asked to work at the Partnerships other venues: the Tall House was a soft option as it didn't have to deal with the rush associated with pre and post South Bank theatrical productions.

Alas, the Partnership is no longer alive, and I believe all of the philosophy behind it bares no likeness to what is now in place...
