Hi Everyone,
Can any of you recommend a solicitor to assist with the sale of my late mother's flat in Wokingham, Berkshire? I live in Great Suffolk Street so anyone in SE1 would be ideal.

Many thanks,

I've never used them but Fields in the Borough High Street have been there for about 200 years so I assume they know their stuff?

Clive, Fields are estate agents - though they may be able to recommend a solicitor / conveyancer.

If you search the forum for those terms I'm sure there's a thread or two on the subject.

I've used Anthony Gold though it was for a road accident. I was very happy.

Many thanks janefs and beetroot. I have approached Anthony Gold solicitors - the SE1 website really is an excellent resource.
Thanks again,

We had the partnership solicitors recommended to us by someone on se1 forum

We Have no hesitation in recommending them - in fact we cannot recommend them more highly! (A welcome pleasure after previous solicitors). They specialise in flat sales including leasehold and its intricacies, as well as house sales.

They responded to emails same day (often same hour), excellent communication, clearly laid out fees and, ideally for us, have an office at Waterloo (next to Union Jack club) where you can drop in papers or see them in person. The main office is in Guildford but we always dealt with Waterloo. You can also drop any papers off at Waterloo and they will courier them for free to Guildford if necessary.
