I walked as normal but can confirm pavement traffic was particularly heavy at the Tooley St contra-flow.

Same here, and once over London Bridge, things got particularly busy. Good to see so many cyclists this morning, some of them looked as though they could do with cycling a little more often.

I saw a couple of people roller-blading throught the (horrendous stationary) traffic. Lots of part-time cyclists too!

Apparently Evans Cycles at London Bridge sold as many bikes yesterday as they normally do in a week.

I hope Evans encouraged all their new customers to get a bit of training. My journey to work was mostly OK, but there were a few potentially dangerous moments when people looking suspiciously like part-time cyclists/motorcyclists decided to weave and wobble in the middle of the traffic.
