Still in the news for the wrong reasons. Is it still owned by Southern Cross or have they just changed the name. Went there to visit old friend of my Mums two decades ago... There was only one lift working,the staff told methe other was broken. Years ago man accused the home of murdering his parent. Think five people died in eight days.
Most of Southern's Cross' homes (including Tower Bridge) were sold to a new company HC-One in 2011.
Different management and ownership (a complicated web of offshore companies).
The company has won awards, but has also been involved in a BBC Panorama incident and has had at least one other home closed to new admissions by the Care Quality Commission.
