I think either dementia has set in - or the gin is rotting my brain!

I can't for the life of me remember the name that my former office boozer had until the early 1990s. IIRC the Department of Health moved out of Friars House up to Leeds at about that time and they lost most of their lunchtime trade (!) .

It's on Blackfriars Road (no 173)at the corner with Surrey Row - now painted yellow and trading as Imbibe bar (aka M-Bibe) with a "Pimms Garden" . It was a branch of Babushka for a few years in the intervening period.

If my memory serves me right, I think the name of this pub was the Kings Head.
