Thank you to all who completed the questionaire on Archbishops Park Playground redesign and especially to James who put it up on the site. Despite having no budget, we managed to get far more than the 100 completed returns target we had set ourselves. A number of local mums, and Kennington Sure Start helped out, circulating questionnaires in playgroups and at school gates.

Since then Lambeth Parks have helped us comment on the first draft designs, especially maintenance and safety angles. The final draft will be ready soon, and we will be posting it in the park and, assuming James' continued help, on this site.

(I do assume James' continued help because he has been really supportive and cooperative at every stage, but need to say that this help is very welcome and not taken for granted.)

We are in the middle of raising funds for this playground. If anyone has inside knowledge of funding, or better still has an employer who would llike to donate either a piece of play equipment or a bench or some cash, they would be very welcome. If anyone want s to be involved they are also welcome.

WCRT have agreed to fund two pieces of equipment, subject to certain maintenance conditions, and Lambeth something similar. These ought to be in by next March. In addition a trim trail for adult fitness types should go in any day now.
