After losing my birth certificate, I applied for a new one and the one that they sent me, had the address of my father as 17 Creasy Estate SE1. This was in 1949. Can anyone tell me if this estate still exists as I would love to have a look if it is. Also if it does, where roughly is it?
Thanks for your help.

I think it's still there: Multimap shows that it's on Aberdour Street http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?lat=51.4946&lon=-0.0838&scale=10000&icon=x

Yes, it's still there. It's near the Bricklayers Arms roundabout

Thanks to both of you for replying. Have looked at the map and think I can remember visiting there when I was really small. Will try to get over there soon to have a look around. Once again, thanks alot.
