...but across the bridge (tower) there is a french market in St Katherine's Dock. It was setting up as I walked to work, and looked like it had lots of lovely cheese, hot food, wine, soaps etc...

There's also a French Market in Lower Marsh this Saturday and Sunday (as mentioned in SE1 Direct of course). Looks good for topping up temporarily with some bread, cheese etc. We last Eurostar'd 3 weeks ago so we're pining for a hint of Frenchness.
