Downings Roads boats

Does anyone know what has been happening to the boats off Bermondsey Wall West (by Provident Sq gardens)that can be viewed just by Brown's on the waterfront? In the last few days loads of them seem to have dissappeared. I know they were asked to go a couple of years back http://www.savethemoorings.org.uk but I thought they had been given permission to stay. There is a notice on the lamp post about a public enquiry towards the end of June. If they had been asked to leave I assume I would have read something in the local press.

I believe that, in order to comply with the conditions imposed to allow the moorings to stay, some work has to be done on them, which necessitates the boats moving off for a few months (though I am not certain whether this is the cause of the current exodus)
