Dentists on Borough High St

There are a couple of dentists on Borough High St - anyone have a recommendation? It is just for a checkup, hopefully nothing too complicated!

Alicia Fison at London City Dental Practice, 43 Borough High St, is very nice, if a little pricey even for just a checkup. As a new patient, she will insist on x-rays. I think I paid £90 for first check up, x-rays, and teeth cleaning by the hygenist, Deirdra.

If you are willing to travel to Tower Bridge Road you could try Dr. Anobil's surgery,I see Tara the female dentist there and they are very reasonable and are still taking NHS patients as far as I know.I went after Plum recommended them and have been very happy.

Rightfully or otherwise, this thread from February seems to warn against Dr Chater of Borough High Street.

City Dental (I think) near LB tube did a lot of work for me. They were very friendly, very flexible with times and emergencies and the treatment was good. They are not cheap though!
