Are there any nightclubs near Bermondsey station?
There's a nice new Japanese place opened up near the station but from there I'd like to go to a club, maybe on a Friday or Saturday night?

None that I know of! Only the ones under London Bridge which is not too far, though they're not my kind of place. Nightbuses from Angel and Camden are a fact of weekend life...

It's just we like the New Japanese Place near the Station "Poppy Hana" so were looking for a place to go after it closes

Is 'Downtown' still open? or was that large functions only, i cant remember.. hangover!

If you mean Downtown in Odessa St near the Ship York, the answer is no. It keeps coming inder a new guise and going almost as quickly.
